Are you ready to leave betrayal in the past and be empowered to create a brighter future? If so, Begin Again Institute offers a dedicated intensive for betrayed partners.
The five-day intensive is held in beautiful Berthoud, Colorado at our main campus. It’s designed specifically for partners of sex addicts who’ve experienced the pain of betrayal trauma to be a transformative experience of healing and empowerment.
Unite in Recovery
After experiencing betrayal in their relationship, it’s not uncommon for partners of men struggling with sexual addiction, pornography addiction, and intimacy disorders to suffer from triggers, intrusive thoughts, and other Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms. If this sounds like you, it’s time to prioritize your own healing.
So often, the addict in the relationship gets most of the attention, time, and financial resources in the pursuit of recovery. And while it’s necessary for them to receive treatment, it’s not uncommon for their partners to get left behind in that process. You need and deserve to embark on your own healing process.
Partners living with the trauma of betrayal are often isolated in their pain due to feelings of shame, the need to protect their husbands, or fear of exposure to friends and family.
The 5-day Partner Intensive is an intimate and caring community of no more than 10 participants. Your cohort will be your safe space and your confidants. You never asked to be part of this exclusive club, but our team of betrayal trauma experts can provide the specialized support you need.
During the intensive, you’ll receive multiple types of trauma-focused therapy from both male and female therapists including:
- Brainspotting
- Narrative Therapy
- Psychodrama
- Guided Meditation
- Inner Child Work
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Attachment Therapies
- Mind/Body Practices
- Shame Reduction
The five-day intensive includes between 30-40 group and individual therapy hours from an expert team of Betrayal Trauma specialists. A light breakfast and lunch are also provided each day of the intensive.
Clients are responsible for their airfare. Transportation to and from Denver airport, as well as lodging at our beautiful Berthoud campus, is included.
In addition to these evidence-based therapies, you’ll receive psychoeducation to help you make sense of what you’re going through and finally have language for what has never quite made sense in your relationship.
This intensive is for those who are feeling isolated, discouraged and abandoned. It’s also ideal for those who may already be working with a therapist, trauma specialist, or couples counselor but still feel stuck in their pain.
