Partner Support Program Facilitator
Karina’s passion has always been ensuring that individuals and families receive exceptional services that create lasting, meaningful change. Prior to joining Boulder Recovery, Karina worked with social service agencies across the U.S. to develop, implement and improve programming through outcome driven evaluation and evidence based clinical and management practices. Karina approaches her clinical work with a similar lens, believing that a clinician’s role is to provide clients with unconditional positive regard, proven skills, and support while they leverage their strengths to heal from trauma.
Karina feels honored to support and walk alongside partners and couples recovering from betrayal trauma. She provides a safe and comforting environment in which clients make sense of their pain, connect with other partners, and boldly embrace their path toward healing. She empowers partners to find safety in their own strength and regain stability, peace, and hope. Karina also provides education and coaching to participants of the 14-day intensive to help men truly understand and connect with their partner’s experience and pain. She instills hope by providing a clear path men can use for helping their partners heal and repairing their relationships.
Karina is a licensed social worker and holds a masters degree from Columbia University. She is also trained in the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Counseling through the PACT Institute and enjoys helping couples build renewed love and connection.
