As the partner of a man seeking treatment in one of Begin Again Institute’s programs, you understand all too well that he did not end up in this situation without the fallout and devastation of betrayal falling on someone’s shoulders – and that someone is you.
Betrayal trauma experienced by the partners of those suffering from sexual addictions and intimacy disorders cannot be overlooked for either party in the pursuit of healing and recovery. Therefore, addressing and treating betrayal trauma is integrated into each of our programs – whether it be a 14-Day intensive or 28-Day residential stay.
Our highly specialized, partner-sensitive team facilitates an innovative group that supports partners before, during, and immediately after the men’s treatment programs – at no additional cost to the family.
Partner Support Programming is done virtually and is only available to those whose spouse is enrolled in one of our men’s programs. The curriculum includes:
In this virtual program, you will learn self-regulation techniques, how to deal with stressors, how to begin to heal from betrayal, how to enhance your self-care, set healthy boundaries and expectations, and find support for your own healing.
Help for sex addiction is, thankfully, becoming more readily available; but help for the partners crushed by that addiction is hard to find.
Whether you are currently with your partner and plan to stay, are still undecided about the relationship, or have already chosen to leave – you deserve to receive help and care for the devastating effects of sexual betrayal.
