A person in long-term recovery, Scott has a passion for assisting other men in their journeys to pursue a life of authenticity, intimacy, and connection. Prior to his work at BAI, Scott worked with adolescent youth involved in the criminal justice system, as well as those residing in therapeutic foster homes. Scott also has experience in community organizing and policy advocacy, working to bring about legislation that bolstered mental health and recovery services in Massachusetts.

In his work at BAI, he utilizes a combination of dialectical behavior therapy, psychodrama and experiential therapies, attachment theory, motivational interviewing, and brainspotting. It is a privilege for Scott to support clients in their journey to heal childhood wounds, develop self-compassion, embrace vulnerability, and build a foundation for a life of sobriety.

Scott is a native of Bakersfield, California. He received his bachelor’s degree in global studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and graduated from Boston College with a master’s degree in social work.
